Through the Compass program we have a small (but mighty) team of folks who advocate for change in our community by offering effective behavioral health treatment services focused on youth and families who reside in Cleveland County. Using evidence-based programs and practices we are able to see lifelong change!

Director

Millie

I’m Millie and my role is to lead Compass efforts through the lens of continuous quality improvement using the Plan-Do-Study-Act framework focused primarily on behavioral health services for youth and families at risk of or currently involved with the juvenile justice system. I have extensive experience in the social services arena and I’m most interested in providing a much needed platform for diversion programming to meet the needs of youth and their families through evidence-based services.

Jennifer

I’m Jennifer and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about seeing people from all walks of life feel seen and heard, while also equipping them with life-changing tools. I earned my Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Nyack Graduate School of Counseling in New York. Much of my career has been in the corrections and human services arenas in various cities across the country, I have passionately fought for systemic change and access to quality care for our most marginalized communities.

Tessa

I’m Tessa and I’m a certified Behavioral Health Case Manager II and an intern therapist. I'm in my last year of graduate school to become a Licensed Professional Counselor before I finish my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. My graduate coursework has been through the University of Oklahoma where I've focused my therapeutic skills on Narrative Therapy and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Elizabeth

I’m Elizabeth and I’m a Licensed Master of Social Worker who graduated from the University of Oklahoma. I am a married mother of a rambunctious toddler and two fur babies. I am currently under supervision to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and through a client-centered approach would love to create a safe space to navigate your thoughts and emotions while utilizing evidence-based practices to empower you to achieve desired positive change. I am passionate about supporting you on your mental health journey!

Nathan

I’m Nathan and I’m a certified Behavioral Health Case Manager II and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor candidate. I am a student in a graduate program for Psychology to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. My goal is to help people access the resources they need to improve their quality of life and develop needed tools to handle the stress of life.
